Today I flew from Melbourne to Alice Springs, and from there to Ayers Rock airport. There was a 2.5 hrs delay in Alice Springs, due to that the had to switch to another plane. Besides that, everything went smoothly, and I had lots of time to read on the airport. :-)
When arriving at Ayers Rock airport, too my big surprise it was pouring down! Really heavy rain! Warm and lovely rain! (It's usually quite dry out here.)
I think I was the only one who had an umbrella with me.
There is a tourist village Yulara here, where I am staying at the Lost Camel Hotel. I got a very nice room, and there's a swimming pool at the hotel.
