Now I am back on the mainland again!
Flew back from Launceston to Melbourne yesterday, then took a train to Geelong, and from there a bus to Lorne.
And guess why I am here? Do you know what's great in Lorne?
SURFING!
I have never-ever tried this. But I got so fascinated by this poster with a guy on a surfingboard, and a huge wave behind him. And I always wanted to do this!
Starting tomorrow, I will learn how to surf! I will learn to ride the waves!

I expect to get plenty of water down my lungs :-), but I will definitely master surfing!
I have booked three lessons, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. No turning back now! And that's the way I want it.
Why work? When you can go ride a wave????? Yes, you truly know how to live the situation - envy you, but I would never dare riding any waves!!!! So I experience it through you... waiting for an exciting story about it! Go for it!!! Kram

Kristoffer, great to hear that you have tried both windsurfing and surfing. Where were you when you tried surfing?
Well, I love hiking and so I will do in the Rockies this summer (Colorado). Been there a few times and just love it! So beautiful with the mountains and the small lakes in between and calm... That's one of my passions!!! :)
